Your JSS may decrease due to several factors related to client feedback and contract outcomes. Here are the most common reasons:

  • Negative Private Feedback: Even if public feedback looks positive, private feedback from clients has a significant impact on JSS.
  • Canceled or Unsuccessful Contracts: If a contract ends with no payment or with a dispute, it negatively affects your JSS.
  • Lack of Long-Term Clients: Long-term clients (90+ days of working relationship) positively impact your JSS. If you lose them, your score may drop.
  • High-Earning Job with Poor Feedback: Jobs with higher earnings have a bigger influence on your JSS calculation. A bad review on a high-value contract can lower your score significantly.
  • Frequent Disputes or Low Ratings: Disputes and contract terminations due to issues with the client impact your JSS.
