Upwork supports most common file types for attachments, including .doc, .pdf, .ppt, .txt, .gif, and .png, across all platform areas. However, executable and script-related files like .exe, .bat, and .jar are not supported. Additionally, .zip files cannot be uploaded from iOS devices.

To help your work flow smoothly and efficiently, most file types are accepted on the Upwork platform. This includes .doc, .docx, .pdf, .txt, .ppt, .gif, and .png. The supported file types are the same everywhere attachments are available (proposals, job posts, projects, messages, etc.).
