Each Project Catalog order has its own workroom, where you can track progress, review files, and message your freelancer. The Overview tab shows the timeline and any required steps, including inputs you need to submit within 48 hours. Use the Messages tab to communicate, and the Details tab to view contract info and project settings. When the freelancer submits work, you can approve it or request revisions directly in the workroom.

  • Select Manage work > Your contracts
  • Select the relevant order

What are the sections in the Project Catalog workroom?

Overview

Track the order's status and any revisions. The timeline section helps you follow along with the steps that freelancers put in the project—including the requirements you must submit before they can begin the work.

Note: You must submit these within 48 hours. Otherwise, your order will be canceled.

The recent files section shows all the attachments you and your freelancer have uploaded. Select the three dots menu (...) next to the file to download it. If the work you need completed is a file, you can find it here or in the timeline when your freelancer uploads the finished work.

Messages

Communicate with the freelancer throughout the process. You can ask questions, send files, and schedule a meeting from here.

Details

See the administrative details of this contract:

  • Order description
  • Details about the project and options you selected such as price, tier, Contract ID, and payment type
  • Feedback left after the work is approved
  • An “About the professional” section

What happens in the Project Catalog workroom when the work is completed?

When the freelancer submits the work, you'll be notified to review it to make sure it’s what you expected. You'll have the option to Approve and Pay or Request Revisions.

Note: projects include a specified number of revisions, so be sure to include as much detail in your requests as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

The steps, due date, or other details listed in the timeline in my Project Catalog workroom are incorrect. How do I change them?

The details in the workroom are pulled from the information the professional has created. You can’t change the details listed in the workroom. Communicate with your freelancer about what information or details might need to be changed.

How can I contact the freelancer for my Project Catalog project?

To contact the freelancer, click the message icon at the top of the workroom in mobile, or select the Messages tab near the top in desktop.
