Hide a team

To hide an inactive team on Upwork, the account owner must first ensure all contracts are closed and team members (except themselves) are removed. Then, navigate to Account settings › Teams and select Hide Team. Hidden teams remain accessible in Team Settings and can be restored anytime. Original company teams cannot be hidden.

If you have a team that’s not actively working on a project, the account owner can hide the team. Once hidden, it won’t show up in your team list or across most areas of Upwork — but don’t worry, it’s not gone. You’ll still see it on your Team Settings page, and you can always bring it back when you're ready to use it again.

To hide a team

1. Be sure there are no open contracts and remove all team members (except yourself)
2. Go to Account settings › Teams
3. Find the team you want to hide and select Hide Team

You can’t hide the original team that was automatically created along with your company.

To unhide a team

1. Go to Account settings › Teams
2. Find the team you want to unhide and select Show Team
