Change a Job’s Start Date

Sometimes your plans change, and a project starts sooner or later than expected. In most cases, changing a job’s start date is simple:

• To change the start date before hiring a freelancer, simply edit the job’s Estimated Start Date
• To change the start date at time of hiring, set the desired start date on the hiring form

Adjusting the start date after a project has begun requires more steps. Because the start date has already been set, you’ll need to redo the process.

To change a set start date after the date passed:

1. End the contract
2. Rehire your freelancer
3. Set the desired start date on the rehire form
