The Project Catalog workroom lets freelancers and clients track progress on each order through a shared timeline. It includes submitted requirements, task checklists, attachment sharing, and work submissions with revision tracking. Each order has its own workroom, accessible via active contracts, streamlining communication and project management.

How does the Project Catalog workroom work?

  • You can track all your work in the workroom—it shows where you and the client are in the process, if you're waiting on something from the client, and next steps

  • The steps and requirements that you put in your project appear in the timeline. As you work, you can check off specific tasks you’ve completed, and the client can see they've been done too
  • You'll submit work, keep track revisions, and add attachments through the workroom—you can see all the attachments you and your client have added

  2. Select the relevant order

What are the sections of the workroom?

Submitted requirements

When the client submits the requirements you requested from them in your project, you can easily to easily access them here. The arrow on the right side lets you to hide the section if you don’t need it.

Note:

Clients need to submit requirements within 48 hours of purchasing an order. We highly encourage you to wait until requirements are submitted before starting the work.

Project timeline

You can see the requirements and the steps that you built into your project. The timeline lists the steps in the order you created them, with due dates. You can mark the steps that have been completed by clicking the box next to each task. A green circle with a check mark will display on completed steps, so your client can follow along and see what's finished.

To submit work, select the Submit Work button. Your client will be notified and have an opportunity to review the work. You can resubmit the work here too, if needed.

If you’ve built revisions into your work, you can see how many are remaining and continue to submit work in the timeline after you submit your initial draft.

Important:

The client’s requirement submission, review, and approval are steps that are already built into the process. You won’t need to build these in your Project Catalog project steps.
